PeakFiber Construction Timeline
Construction Notification
PeakFiber will place door hangers and yard signs throughout the neighborhood so residents know construction is expected to begin in the coming weeks.
Preparation + Utilities Marked
PeakFiber will secure all necessary easements and permits before construction begins. Call Before You Dig will mark public underground utilities, though private utilities will not be included, and residents will begin seeing construction equipment in the area.
The Start of Construction
Small test holes are dug to verify the depth and location of existing utilities. Directional boring then begins along the planned fiber route, and connection boxes are installed where conduit and fiber lines meet.
Placing + Splicing Fiber
A PeakFiber fiber expert will place and splice the fiber-optic cables along the planned route.
Construction Completed
All construction is complete. PeakFiber will address any remaining miscellaneous repairs, and residents can now place orders for service.
